Christmas #2....

This morning, after opening Santa's gifts, we went to Grandpa's house for Christmas with Grandpa, Gigi, Aunt Kacie and Denver, Uncle Blake, and Aunt Loren, Uncle Josh, and Braedon. We're home to regroup, then heading back out, so I only had time to make a slideshow with the pictures. Enjoy!

Merry Christmas!!

Santa Claus came to our house last night!

He brought me my very own Wonder Pets Flyboat!

It's really fun!

Then Mommy and Daddy gave me some presents!

I got some new pajamas....

....and my very own digital camera!
Now I won't have to borrow Mommy and Daddy's camera for this blog!

One Handsome Little Guy!

Last night we went to Christmas Eve Mass. I have to say, I was one handsome guy!

Tonight, I'll be watching....

Thanks Aunt Ginger!!!

Aunt Ginger sent us a Christmas package! I had as much fun pulling the packing peanuts out 9one by one, no less) as I did with the presents inside!

Thanks for the snuggly blanket, the cute outfit, the "One Day, I Will Vote" t-shirt, the blankets and movie for Mommy & Daddy, the oh-so-much-fun truck (when I slow down long enough, Mommy will get a picture of me with it to send to you), and the pancake mix and maple syrup. I'm really hoping Mommy cooks that for Christmas morning breakfast!!

On the 12th Day of Christmas....

...Mommy and Daddy gave to me....

On the 11th Day of Christmas....

Well, you can't see what they gave to me. I never turned to look at the camera! But it's some new books. Maybe I'll be more cooperative tomorrow.

Christmas with Gram & Poppa

Saturday night we celebrated Christmas with Gram, Poppa, Aunt Michelle, and Mr. Andy. We took lots of pictures, so it was easiest to put them in a slide show. Enjoy!

Ho! Ho! Ho!

Earlier in December, Mommy and Daddy took me to the mall on a Sunday after Mass. They wanted to take me to see Santa Claus. The entire time we waited they asked if was going to sit with Santa and take a picture. To amuse them, I said yes. But when it was finally our turn - forget about it! I'm pretty sure Mommy still has scratches on the back of her neck from me that day! I wouldn't even sit with Mommy and Daddy near Santa. So needless to say, we left the mall without any pictures that day.
A week later was our subdivision Christmas party. Santa was there taking pictures with all the kids. The photographer was Mr. Matt, who's taken my pictures many many times. And they had cookies. Mommy was helping with the party, and Daddy was away for work, so Grannie and Paw-Paw came to town to help Mommy with me. After lots of encouragement from everyone, I finally decided I'd take my M&M cookie over to show Santa. I sat on his knee to show him my cookie, and Mr. Matt snapped the picture! So, here's the shot of me, Ole Saint Nick, and my M&M cookie! (Great job on getting a picture of me with Santa without tears, Mr. Matt!)

Home for the Holidays...

The past few nights we've been taking drives around different neighborhoods to look at Christmas lights. I really like seeing the inflatables and moving characters. But Daddy made our house beautiful! I think it's the best one there is! This picture really doesn't do it justice.

Our house came in third place in our subidivision's annual decorating contest!

Decorating Cupcakes

Friday morning was my Christmas Party at my St. Jude Play-n-Pray. Thursday night Mommy and I made cupcakes to bring to the party. We had a great time making them. And I helped a lot! I put the sprinkles on all of them!

Storytime with Mrs. Claus and Tillie the Clown

Every Wednesday, Grannie takes me to storytime at the library. This week was special because we got a visit from Mrs. Claus and Tillie the Clown. I had a great time!

Tillie the Clown was funny!

Mrs. Claus was very sweet. She gave me a candy cane and promised me that she'd tell Santa Claus I am a very good boy!

Before we left, I had to check out the books. I always get to borrow two books each week. We bring them back the next week and get two more. It's great because I always have something new to read!

Thanks "La-La"!

A few months ago, Aunt Leslie, my Godmother, moved to Houston. Before she left, she came over for a long visit. I can't say "Leslie", but I can say La-La, so she decided she'd be La-La until I can say Aunt Leslie.
We're not sure if our schedules will jive for us to see her at Christmas, so she mailed a package with my gifts to me. I was very excited when the UPS man rang our doorbell. Daddy opened the big brown box and found two presents for me inside! I was very excited! Mommy and Daddy told me I could open them tonight. There'll be enough to keep me overwhelmed on Christmas, so I may as well enjoy the gifts slowly!

I was very deligent about my unwrapping process. And I did NOT like the idea of just throwing the torn paper onto the floor.

But I had no problems pulling the tissue paper out to see what was inside!

New pajamas and socks! I love pajamas!

My attention was very quickly diverted to the second present which awaited my unwrapping skills.

It's the Little People Airplane! I absolutely am obsessed with airplanes! As soon as I saw it, I began making the airplane noise. (We'll just have to get that on video - it has no spelling!) There were pictures of me playing with it out of the box, but they were very blurry because I was moving around too fast! But I really like it!

Christmas Cookies

Last night Mommy and I started baking Christmas cookies! I helped her stir the dry ingredients before adding them to the mixer. Then, when the chocolate batter was made, I helped Mommy put the mint m&m's on them.

I carefully placed them, one at a time, on each ball of dough. We made sure each cookie had red and green candies.

I pushed each m&m into the dough so that it would stay in place.

Then, as soon as I thought Mommy wasn't looking, I pulled an m&m off a cookie and ate it! Each time I'd smile and let out a little snicker! Mommy's pretty sure I ate more m&m's that we got on the cookies! But we had fun, and that's what counts.
