Santa came to my school! (+ Santa Visit #4)

Boy, if the number of times you get to visit Santa Claus in the month of December means anything, it must mean I'm getting all kinds of presents for Christmas!  This was my fourth visit to see the man in red.  He came to visit my school last week.  Of course Mommy didn't want me to be the only kid not to see Santa, so she wrote the check for the pictures and tucked it into my folder.  And when she was the picture yesterday, she was glad she did it.  It's a great picture!

(And you'll notice I'm in a different shirt.  I'd already taken three pictures with Santa in the two Christmas shirts Grangie had already made me.  Mommy wanted to change it up.  I got to look at all the pictures and pick what I wanted -- Curious George in a Christmas hat!  So thanks for my new shirt, Grangie!!)

Welcome Sprinkles!

After church lasat Sunday, instead of heading to Starbucks or CC's as we usually do, we drove to Grangie's and Paw-Paw's house.  I was okay with that - I love going to their house.  But when we walked in, there was a surprise!  The table was all set with Christmas things, and there was an elf book.  And then we saw the ELF hanging from the chandelier!  There's an elf for their house, too!  And just like at my house, he surprised us with breakfast of donut holes and little presents!

Even though he knew it was the same store, Bubby insisted that Grangie read the book to us again.  So she read, and we at our yummy donut holes!

Then we got to open our boxes at our places.  We each got Christmas story books.  I got some lip gloss!  (Maybe I'll stop trying to eat use Mommy's now!)  I also got a giant penguin bouncy balloon!

We decided to name this elf Spinkles.  He's going to watch us when we're at Grangie's and Paw-Paw's house, since we're there almost every day.  I guess our Evan just needs a little help.  Freckles brought me a Santa bouncy balloon and some Cars bubbles and a Christmas activity book.  I love looking for Freckles every day after school now!

Grangie's & Paw-Paw's Tree Decorating

After decorating our tree at our house, I kept begging Grangie and Paw-Paw to put up their tree.  Finally they did it, and of course I had to go over and help them!  We brought Madeline, too.

I really didn't help much.  Grangie just held me so I could see.  It's probably best that way though.  Paw-Paw put William up on his shoulders to reach the parts up higher.

Grangie's and Paw-Paw's tree is as beautiful as our tree!  We just love Christmastime!

Lunch with Gram & Papa (+ Santa Visit #3)

Last weekend we met Gram and Papa at the Bass Pro Shop for lunch and to see Santa.  This was my third visit to Santa this Christmas!  (Mommy still needs to upload my picture from the mall!)  While we waited for our turn to see him, we got to play with a few trains they had set up.  It was fun!

Madeline had no interest in Santa, of course.  And I'm pretty sure she didn't like Rudolph either.  Come to think of it, I didn't want to go near him myself!

Then we got to ride on a little carousel they had, too.
