Finally - We know what was under our tree!!

For weeks now, we've had a bunch of presents wrapped under our tree.  For Madeline, it was no big deal.  But me... I knew which ones had a "W" on the tag.  And that meant it was for ME!  As Christmas neared, I constantly asked Mommy and Daddy "Is tomorrow Christmas, the day we get to open our presents?"  Finally, it was here!

First, we gave Daddy his present.  He only got to go first because his had to be delivered.  Outside.  It was too big!  PawPaw and Grangie brought it to our house for Mommy.  (I think she was hiding it at their house!)  So I led Daddy outside with his eyes closed, and Madeline trailed behind!

It's a big tool cabinet!  It's shiny red, too.  He was super excited!

I even crawled outside, careful not to mention any of the action!  I helped rip the paper off the second box - the larger base of the tool cabinet.  I know Daddy appreciated my help!

Then it was back inside to get on with the present opening.  It was mine and Bubby's turns!  Daddy started handing out presents and Mommy started snapping pictures.  Bubby may have been faster, but I sure did open all of my presents on my own!

Our first present was very special.  We got matching Curious George blankets that Mommy made for us!  Grangie embroidered our names on them so we know who's is who's.

Then I got Cranium Playground.  It looks like a lot of fun!

I made sure to check the tags on all my presents to make sure I only had those with a "W" on them!

And I continued to open my presents, too.  I got Dumbo on DVD!  Finally, som girly movies -- not just trains and trucks and construction!

I was a little bit excited about my Cars 2 DVD and Cars music CD!

And I got my very own Curious George plush!  I constantly try to borrow Bubby's.  Mine is wearing pajamas, and his aren't, so they'll be easy to tell apart!

Woooooh!  New Thomas the Train engines!

I am totally in love with this dancing puppy!  I love to clap and dance with it!

And my very own Cabbage Patch Kid doll!  As I'm told, this is the same CPK that Mommy had as a little girl, except her doll had red yarn hair.  I'm so excited to have it, and my favorite thing it to take her shoes off, of course, just like I like to do for myself!

William's Christmas Gifts for the Family

After lunch on Christmas Eve, I finally got to give everyone my presents I bought for them!  See, we had a "Reindeer Shop" at my school.  We got to go in there to buy presents for our family members.  I came home with them the week after Thanksgiving, I immediately put them under the tree, and kept them a secret!  Everyone was so impressed that I kept the secret for so long.  But I was really excited to give them!

I gave Madeline a pretty, soft, white Minky dot blanket!  She loved it!

I got Daddy an LSU koozie.  Enough said.  He loved it, of course!

PawPaw got a visor cd organizer.  He was super excited, too!

Mommy didn't get pictures of herself or Grangie opening their gifts because they were sitting side-by-side (as I had assigned) on the blue couch.  I gave Grangie a really bright and pretty dustpan and brush.  She's been eyeing something similar at Hobby Lobby for a long time, so she was really excited to get it.  And I got Mommy a beautiful black and white scarf.  She even wore it to church that night, she loved it so much!

And when we were opening them, Madeline surprised me with a present!  She chose a firetruck paint set for me.  I'm so excited to get to paint the firetruck canvas!

Christmas with Grandpa

On the morning of Christmas Eve, Grandpa and Ms. Judy came over for breakfast.  Mommy made us some great Christmas pancakes - in the shapes of Christmas trees, holly, trains, presents, candy canes, and more! After breakfast, Grandpa gave us some presents.  We had a lot of fun opening them and playing with them!

Thanks for our presents Grandpa and Ms. Judy!

Pre-Christmas Dinner

On the Thursday before Christmas, we met Gram, Papa, and Aunt Michelle (Daddy's step-sister) for dinner at Ralph & Kacoos.  They brought us presents, too!  Some were from Aunt Michelle, and others were from Ms. Pam, Papa's sister.

Aunt Michelle got me a set of wooden blocks!

Ms. Pam sent me some books, including a new Thomas book!  I'm very excited!

Mommy was trying to finish eating, and I was done, so I took a walk with Gram and Aunt Michelle.

Thanks to Aunt Michelle and Ms. Pam for the gifts!
