Trick-or-Treat

First off, here's a quick flash-back to a year ago.......

And back to today....

This evening was trick-or-treat night in our neighborhood. We were invited to a pre-trick-or-treating Halloween Party at our neighbor's house with other families. Mommy and I spent the morning baking and decorating cookies to bring to the party. I was a big help! Here are some pictures of me helping Mommy decorate a pumpkin cookie.
Making sure I get enough orange frosting!

Cheese!!!
Concentrating very hard! Oh, this is so much fun!!!

Cheese!!
(Notice the frosting-covered cookie stuck to his shirt!)

I am pretty sure that more frosting ended up ON me rather than IN me! Needless to say, Mommy had to strip my clothes off and give me a bath! There was so much frosting on my arms and face that the bath water turned orange! After she gave me a bath, she finished decorating the cookies while I played. Here's how they turned out:

Later this evening, I got to put my clown costume on and get ready for the party and trick-or-treating!! I was SOOOO excited when I saw my costume!! I could barely contain myself and couldn't wait to put wear it! So when Mommy and Daddy said it was time to go, I grabbed my bucket and was ready!

We went to the party down the street. It was raining, so we came home. The rain let up for a little while, and Mommy and Daddy took me in my wagon to about a dozen houses down our street. Then we came home and handed out candy to lots of other kids! Daddy took a couple pictures of me in my costume. Of course, I had to have my pumpkin with me!

My Latest Adventures

I've had a lot of fun adventures lately. To continue from our time in Ruston.....
The day after the Tech Homecoming game, we all went to Mass together. When we got back to the hotel, Parin and Aunt Emmy were changing my clothes to something comfy for the ride home. I'm pretty sure they aren't ready for kids and should stick with Franklin the dog!

Before leaving Ruston, we made a stop at the Kings' for a visit.

Mrs. Lori was feeding me Cheetos. Mommy wanted me to take a picture with her, but I was being silly and wouldn't hold still!

Back at home....

I can now climb the ladder for my swingset and slide down all by myself! I'm getting to be so very independent! Playing outside on my playset is probably one of my favorite things to do!

Friday Mommy, Grannie, and I spent the day in Lake Charles with Mrs. Danielle and her little girl, Mary-Grace. Mommy and Mrs. Danielle have known each other all their lives. Mary-Grace is 5 months old. Her daddy, Mr. Wayne, told her it would be okay if she wanted to date me one day. And I'm glad it's okay, because she's quite the cutie! It was a gorgeous day, so we went to the park by the lake and took some pictures.

As we were leaving the parky, we heard the ice cream truck. We've heard it in our neighborhood before, but haven't been able to catch it on our streeet. For some reason it must skip us. But this time Paw-Paw got the ice cream man to stop. He bought me my very first ice cream from an ice cream truck. And I thought that was pretty cool! A few days later we heard it in our neighborhood when Grannie and I were outside in our backyard swinging. We ran inside, grabbed some money, and headed for the front door - but never saw it. I heard Daddy's phone right and thought that was the truck! Hopefully his phone doesn't ring too often - or I'll always want ice cream!

I was a sticky sticky mess when I finished! It's a good thing Mommy did some shopping that day and had some other clothes in the car because I had to be changed! But I enjoyed every bite!

Aunt Leslie is moving back to Houston. Her company transferred her to their office there. So this past weekend was her last weekend in Louisiana. The moving truck loaded everything Sunday, so she spent Sunday night at our house before heading out. It was good, because we got to hang out for a long time! I had so much fun with her!

Mr. William came over Sunday evening for a little while, too, so he could see her before she moves. He says I have the greatest name ever! (I wonder why he thinks that...?)

Last night Daddy gave me a bath in the big bathtub in their bathroom. I had a great time splashing around! I really enjoy bathtime a lot!
