Saturday was my actual 'birthday'. I'm now THREE YEARS OLD!! Mommy and Daddy can't believe it's already been three years! I've gotten so big, so fast. This year, for the first time, I had a party with all my friends! Most of these friends are from our playgroup at church, all my age who will start at St. Jude with me for Pre-K in a year. There are also a few other neighborhood friends as well. It was an awesome time! The super nice ladies from Mud Pies & Masterpieces came to Grangie's and Paw-Paw Mike's house for the party. I chose a Curious George theme for this party because he's just my favorite!
Mommy made me an awesome birthday banner! I even got to help her cut out all the circles and the ribbon, and helped her string the ribbon through the papers. She said I did a great job helping her. Then, at Grangie's and Paw-Paw's I helped Mommy and Grangie hang it on the wall!

Because we were going to be painting, Grangie monogrammed an apron for each of us kids to keep our clothes clean. They were so cute all hanging together! Each one had our name and a big initial. Everyone loved them and got to take them home.

Mommy made me a great Curious George cake! I just loved it! And, of course, it was 'green' on the inside!

Before the party started, Daddy went to Party City to pick up the balloons we had ordered. Mommy had a great sign she designed printed so that everyone could find the party. Tuckey Boy helped me tie some balloons to the sign in their front yard.

Mommy and Daddy also rented kid-sized tables and chairs. It was adorable! The ladies from MP&M came with all different colored canvases for us to paint, each outlined in chalk with the shape of Curious George's face!

They let me pick my spot and my color. Of course I chose green. And I wanted Aiden, my best buddy, to sit next to me, so I picked a green for him, too!

This is the 'example' painting they brought. All our parents were thinking there was no way they were going to get a group of 17 three-year-olds to paint this. Boy, were they wrong! Just wait... you'll see!

While we were waiting for all my friends to arrive, Ms. Tara painted everyone's faces. Finn was really excited while he was waiting for Kylie to finish!

Everyone's here! Now Ms. Tara is explaining to us what we'll be doing, while Ms. Stephanie passes out our first paint color - light brown.

We were all paying very close attention to her instructions!

We couldn't wait to get our
paintbrushes wet and get started!

Ms. Tara and the other adults helps us to

Then we all worked hard to fill that part in!

We were all concentrating really hard.

It was so much fun celebrating with all these great friends!

Madeline and Agnes Mae hung out on the couch
for a while since they couldn't paint.
But no fear, they had shirts to match our aprons!

I loved my big giant Curious balloon! And we didn't get a great picture, but notice that my t-shirt has Curious George with paint and paint brushes on it. Grangie made it for me!

Happy 3rd birthday to me!

A great big thanks to everyone who made my birthday so very special.... Grangie and Tuckey Boy for hosting both parties at their house.... Ms. Tara and Ms. Stephanie from Mud Pies & Masterpiece for so much painting fun.... and especially all my amazing friends and their parents for joining us for my party on a wonderful Saturday morning! I had a great time!! (In fact, that night I asked Mommy if we were going to have another birthday party with paint next weekend!) All of you made me so happy!
