Yesterday was Paw-Paw's and Grannie's 29th wedding anniversary. Grannie was here with me in Baton Rouge, so Paw-Paw drove over to meet her. I got to visit and play with Paw-Paw last night. They wanted to go to dinner, so they took me and Mommy with them. I was a really good boy at dinner! Mommy showed me that she could put a little bit of cold water in the end of a straw, hold her finger on the other end, then drip the water into my mouth. I thought that was really cool! So much so, that Paw-Paw was done eating, and Mommy still had a plate full of food because she spent all her time giving me water. So they switched places and Paw-Paw gave me water while Mommy ate her dinner. Here's a picture of me drinking water from the end of the straw. I had lots of fun last week. We had Gram, Mr. Bob, and some of Daddy's family over at our house Friday evening. Saturday Aunt Leslie and another of Mommy's and Daddy's friends, William, (I love his name!) came over to have lunch and watch the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs beat Utah State and become bowl-eligible (I don't know what that means, but William, Daddy, and Parin assure me it's very important!). I just had fun seeing them and playing. Then Sunday we went to my cousin Katherine's birthday party at Aunt Jean's and Uncle John's house.
But, alas, I'm so much to keep up with these days that, even though she had her camera the whole weekend, Mommy didn't get the chance to take any pictures. That's okay, though, because other people did. She called them and they're supposed to be emailing some picutres to us. When we get them, Mommy will post them on here right away! So stay tuned...
