Cookies, Presents, and Fun

This was a fun weekend with Mommy and Daddy. Mommy got off work early Thurday because of the snow. (For those of you in MI, when it snows in Louisiana, the entire state shuts down. We just don't have the capability here to salt, the bridges ice over, and people try driving - not a good combination.) So our weekend got started early!

Thursday afternoon Mommy and Grannie took me shopping with them. (They didn't have to cross any bridges to get to the mall, so all the roads were open.) Friday Daddy had to work (from home), and Mommy and I baked lots of cookies and cupcakes. I played with a spatula most of the time we were baking, but unfortunately Mommy didn't get a good picture. :o( I'm sure another opportunity will present itself, though.
And we made a gingerbread house!

Mommy got me some new rubber ducks to play with in the bathtub. They have Santa hats, and the best part is they light up!

Saturday we went out to do a little shopping and get some things we needed. I picked out some wrapping paper. Saturday evening, I helped Mommy wrap up a bunch of Christmas presents. Then I played on the couch with Daddy - I just kept giggling and giggling!

Sunday morning we went to church. I go to wear a new Christmas outfit! After church, Daddy had to leave for Detroit, and Mommy and I went to visit Aunt Leslie and meet her parents, Mr. Doug and Mrs. Lori. I always have fun with Aunt Leslie!
