Finally, it seems as though the heat is subsiding and we're getting some much needed cooler weather. One particular evening a week or so ago, it must have dropped 20 degrees in a matter of a few hours. Mommy was cooking dinner, and Madeline and I were pressed up against our front window watching the wind blowing everything around! We could hear our neighbors outside, so finally Mommy got to a point where she could take us outside for a bit. But first we had to get on jackets - yes, it was that cool! We went out and played in our front yard 'til Daddy got home. It was so nice!
