So, it's been a really long time since Mommy updated my blog. We've just had a lot going on. I have lots of pictures to share, so make sure you scroll all the way down!
My 1st Easter Egg Hunt
Last Friday was my Easter Party at the playgroup at church. We had a great time! I found one egg - that was enough for me. Mommy put me on the grass, I saw the egg, and crawled straight to it. And I was happy. While all the other kids ran around gathering as many eggs as they could fit into their baskets. I sat in the grass, soaking up the bright sunshine, and playing with my one single purple egg. I shook it near my ear to hear the candy clinging around the inside. I put it in my basket, then took it out. I repeat both of these actions a lot. But I smiled and was happy. We went inside and had snacks. I really enjoyed the egg-shaped sugar cookie with my apple juice. And I made a craft too. We got to put Easter-related foam stickers onto construction paper. I hung my pretty picture on the fridge at our house. And the Easter Bunny stopped by for a visit. It was a fun morning!
Me with the Easter Bunny - We were having a deep conversation.
I crawled over to one egg and stopped to play with it!
Here I am sitting in our group picture.
Visitors from Michigan
This week our friends, Uncle Eric, Aunt Amy, and Kayla, are here visiting from Michigan. They arrived Sunday evening, and we've been having a great time so far. I'm really having a great time playing with Kayla (She just turned 3.). Today we went to City Park to swing and slide. It was a lot of fun, but we didn't stay too long because it's been a little chilly. Way cooler than normal for this area this time of year.

In order to introduce Uncle Eric and Aunt Amy to proper Louisiana culture during April, we had a crawfish boil. I didn't get to eat any of the crawfish myself because Mommy said they were too spicy for me. But Daddy and Uncle Aaron did a great job cooking them - everyone said they were amazing!

Kayla liked eating the claw meat.
Aunt Leslie gave Kayla all her good claws. And those of you from Louisiana know she must be a very lucky girl - no one gives away good claws!
Uncle Eric caught on pretty quickly - but not a lot stands between him and his food!

Mmm... crawfish!
And while they were busy eating crawfish, I found my jar of puffs!
Congratulations to Aunt Leslie and Uncle (?) Aaron
As of Friday, Aunt Leslie is now engaged! I guess that makes him my "Uncle" Aaron, right? We're so excited for them!!!
