A few weeks ago, friends of Mommy and Daddy came to visit. They live in Virginia, and were visiting family in Shreveport. They wanted to get together with us, so we met them in Alexandria. Sandi and Scott have a sweet little boy, Sebastien, who just turned one. So after a yummy brunch at Copelands (It is amazing - for kids and adults - we highly recommend it! And kids eat free under 5!), we headed over to The Alexandria Zoo. It's a small zoo, but just the right size for our attention spans. And it's super shaded with tons of big trees, so that was a big plus on an unseasonably HOT March Sunday. Here are some pictures from the day!
We got to ride in the wagon to see the zoo!

Check out these monkeys and their zookeepers!

We were very excited seeing the train and couldn't wait to ride it!

We couldn't forget the Paw-Paw Birds!!!

We were obsessed with this railroad crossing sign.

Finally, time to ride the train!!
