Bob, err William, the Builder

Over the past few months, my obsession with the cartoon Bob the Builder has grown.  So much so that I pretend I'm Bob, or one of his many machines, a lot when I'm playing.  A few weeks ago, on one of our Saturday trips to Lowe's for their Build-n-Grow Workshops, I spotted "Bob cones" near the entrance.  Of course, I begged for them, and Daddy quickly gave into my emmense cuteness!  So I proudly headed home with four of my very own orange cones.  [Mommy was, of course, gleaming with pride!]  I quickly donned my yellow hard hat (Thanks, Parin & Aunt Emmy!) and set off to work!  That day, the sidewalk in front of Grangie's and PawPaw's house needed repairs.

Safe work zones are of paramount importance, so I carefully set out each cone to proper specifications and spacing. I had to get a little help from PawPaw with holding the tape measure to be sure it was exact.

Baby Madeline thought she needed to help too.  By climbing in the trailer and begging for a ride!

Am I not the perfect picture of a future engineer?

I've also been working on drawing "plans" for a house I'm building.  I save my sketches and showed them to PawPaw, who promptly following my instructions and took me to Lowes to buy supplies.  Now I have my "project" that I work on nearly every chance I get!  Once it's done, if ever, we'll share pictures!  You'd be impressed with my mad hammering skills though!
