Wednesday was Bubby's Mardi Gras wagon parade at his school and I got to go! Grangie took me, and Mommy and Daddy met us there! First we found Bubby lined up on the curb with his whole class - the Krewe of Princesses and Super Heros. He all looked soooo cute!
Once all the parents were there with their wagons, they lined up all the floats ready to parade through the parking lot. Grangie, Daddy, and I secured a spot on a corner.
I had a great time catching the beads that all the kids were throwing to me!
And someone even threw me a sucker! It was yummy!
The parade was really long and stretched all around the parking lot!
I collected quite a lot of loot, myself!
And I looked pretty smitten in my fancy fleur-de-lis shirt Grangie made me, too!
Then we got to go inside to Bubby's classroom to eat some King Cake. He wanted to take a picture with his friends, Kate and Tristyn, but they didn't want to.
So he took a picture with me instead!
